Track Information

Name

The display name for this track, shown as the mixer channel name. Limited to 8 characters.

Color

The color used as the channel name background in the mixer.

Transpose

When enabled, this track is transposed along with the song when pitch changes are applied. Disable this for atonal material like drums, percussion, or click tracks.

Mute Groups

Select which mute groups the track belongs to. Mute groups can also be assigned in the Mixer.

Apply to Similar Tracks

Copies the Name, Color, Transpose, and Mute Groups settings from this track to the same track position in other songs that have the same number of tracks.

This is useful when your songs use a consistent track arrangement. For example, if track 3 is always your lead vocal, you can set up that track once and apply those settings across all your songs with that arrangement.

Example

You're editing track 3 in a song that has 6 tracks. Tapping Apply to Similar Tracks will update track 3 in every other song that also has 6 tracks.

Track Volume

A slider to set the track volume. Double-tap to reset to 0 dB.

The Normalize Loudness button analyzes the average volume of the track and adjusts the track volume to achieve uniform perceived loudness compared to other songs.

Tip

This is most useful for full stereo backing tracks rather than separate stems.

Equalizer

A 4-band equalizer with high and low shelf filters (gain and frequency) and two fully parametric mid bands (gain, frequency, and bandwidth).

Edit the EQ by dragging handles in the frequency plot or by using the knobs below it. Use the green power button to bypass the equalizer, or the reset button to restore default settings.

Panorama

Sets the stereo pan position for this track.

Double-tap to reset to center.
