Autoscroll

Configure automatic scrolling behavior for lyrics and PDF documents.

Lyrics

Autoscroll Enabled

Automatically scrolls lyrics during playback. The scroll speed can be adjusted using the Speed Buttons on the right side of the content area, or by using time-coded lyrics. Stage Traxx remembers the scroll speed for each song individually.

Autoscroll Behavior

Selects how lyrics without time codes are scrolled:

  • Classic: Scrolling is spread across the song duration, so the scroll speed is relative to the song length. See Constant Speed Scrolling.
  • Continuous: Scrolling starts at a fixed tempo the moment playback begins. You can drag the lyrics to a new position at any time and scrolling simply carries on at the same tempo from there. See Continuous Scrolling.

Note

This setting has no effect on songs with time-coded lyrics, which always follow their time codes.

Highlight Current Line

Highlights the current lyrics segment when using time-coded lyrics.

Highlight Mode

Choose how the current lyrics segment is highlighted:

  • Color: Changes the segment to the selected highlight color.
  • Brightness: Increases the brightness of the segment without changing its color. Useful if you use colored lyrics sections.

Highlight Position

Sets where the current lyrics segment is positioned on screen when using time-coded lyrics.

Smooth Timecoded Scroll

When enabled, time-coded lyrics scroll continuously between time codes instead of jumping to the next position each time a time code is reached. The jump-free movement is easier on the eyes, especially with widely spaced time codes.

When disabled, the lyrics stay still and then jump at each time code, which makes the exact moment a new section starts more obvious.

PDF

Autoscroll Enabled

Automatically scrolls PDF documents during playback. The scroll speed can be adjusted using the speed controls, or you can use time-coded scrolling.

General

Default Scroll Speed

Sets the default scroll speed for new songs added to Stage Traxx.

Note

This setting only affects new songs. Existing songs retain their current scroll speed.

Manual Scrolling Override

Allows you to manually scroll the content area during playback. When you scroll manually, automatic scrolling pauses and a button appears to resume it:

Manual Scrolling Override

Tap the button to re-enable automatic scrolling.

When disabled, manual scrolling does not interrupt automatic scrolling—the view snaps back to the current position when you release.
