Customize the visual appearance of Stage Traxx to match your performance environment and personal preferences.

Dark Mode

Stage Traxx uses dark mode by default, displaying a dark background with light text. This is ideal for performances on dimly lit stages. If you perform in bright environments, disable dark mode to switch to a light background with dark text, which improves readability in sunlight.

Colors

Interface

  • Tint Color: The accent color used to highlight controls and interactive elements throughout the app.

Lyrics & Chords

  • Lyrics Color: The main color for displaying lyrics.
  • Lyrics Highlight Color: The color used to highlight the current phrase when using time-coded lyrics.
  • Chord Color: The color for chord symbols displayed in the lyrics area.
  • Chord Highlight Color: The color used to highlight the current chord in time-coded lyrics.
  • Heading 1 Color, Heading 2 Color, Heading 3 Color: The default color for each heading level in your lyrics. Select the transparent swatch to let a heading level use the lyrics color, which is the default. Set a color to make section headings such as Chorus or Bridge stand out without tagging every heading by hand.

Tip

A color tag around a heading still wins over the default set here, so you can color individual headings differently.

Song List Markers

  • Current Song Color: Background color for the currently playing song.
  • Next Song Color: Background color for the upcoming song in the queue.
  • Played Song Color: Background color for songs that have already been played.

Each marker color includes a grey option for a more subtle, less distracting appearance.

The Color Picker

Every color setting in Stage Traxx — theme colors, song and playlist colors, track and bus colors, region colors — uses the same color picker. Tap a color to open it.

The picker has three parts:

  • Palette: The built-in swatches. Some settings add a transparent swatch, which means "no color" or "inherit".
  • Recent: The custom colors you defined most recently, so you can reuse a color across songs, tracks, and regions without mixing it again.
  • Custom: Define any color you like using the red, green, and blue sliders. The change is applied immediately, so you can see the result while you adjust it.

Tip

Custom colors are useful for matching your band's colors, or for creating a set of track colors that are easier to tell apart on stage than the built-in palette.
